The World Kido Federation

The World Kido Federation is an organisation that connects and certifies practitioners of over a hundred different styles of Korean Martial Arts.

The World Kido Federation was set up by Grand Master In Sun Seo, brother of Grand Master In Hyuk Suh, founder and director of Kuk Sool Won (a comprehensive study of all traditional Korean martial arts as practiced by the Royal Court Guards of Korea).

Grand Master In Sun Seo has dedicated his life to the practice, teaching and study of Korean martial arts and through The World Kido Federation continues to cultivate their growth and development.

Chung Seung Moo Sool was born from primarily practitioners of WTF Taekwondo and Kuk Sool Hapkido as taught by Grand Master In Sun Seo, thus it was just natural for Chung Seung Moo Sool Association to seek recognition by one of its main mentors as an independent system of Korean based martial art.

The aims of The World Kido Federation are:

  • To allow the establishment of a world-wide link between the Korean martial arts practitioners of the world to their roots in Korea.
  • To build a relationship of respect and encouragement between the different Korean martial art styles within the Kido organization.
  • To be a world-wide organization with the goals to create unification and harmony among all Korean martial arts and guide martial arts activities and certification so true martial artists will have unquestionable integrity and security.
  • To continuously work to bring factual information to all Korean martial arts practitioners in hopes that we will learn from the past and work together to create a stronger Korean martial arts community.
